A mass network outage in the UK has made it impossible for people to make phone calls or send text messages. All four major UK phone networks – EE, O2, Vodafone, and Three appear to be down currently.
According to Down Detector, the network issues started at around 10:35 GMT today and is affecting customers across the United Kingdom. While most of the users are reporting problems with making phone calls and sending text messages, some are unable to access mobile data.
As of now, however, the reason behind the outage remains unclear. O2 is so far the only carrier to have acknowledged the issue and has said that its technical teams are currently investigating.
